Invipo in the city

On the stage

Invipo's integration platform is powered by a range of sensors that collect data on everything from traffic to air quality. This data is then used to optimize traffic, deal with emergencies, improve urban infrastructure and services, optimize resources, improve safety or even develop sustainability. Invipo connects different city services and systems and enables them to work together.

Whats the rush?

Traffic control and
monitoring

Invipo helps to ensure that traffic on the streets is as safe and efficient as possible. The city gets an overview of traffic, which allows not only to deal with the current traffic situation, but also to plan future development.

Volume, direction and composition

Invipo uses various techniques to monitor traffic. Both by using traffic counters with classification, i.e. sorting vehicles by type, and by using weigh-in-motion equipment. Other independent sources may also be available, such as from the mobile data network and increasingly live data directly from vehicles.

Traffic control

Intersection control adjusts timings according to current traffic conditions to reduce the level of necessary delay, optimise traffic flow and prevent accidents. An optional feature is the priority of the passage of public transport and emergency vehicles.

Navigation

Orientation in the city can be difficult for drivers, and the traffic situation is constantly changing. The system informs the driver directly on the way using variable message boards, as well as transmitting data to the navigation systems in the vehicles.

We're on time.

Public transport
prioritisation

Prioritisation of public transport means that buses, trolleybuses and other public transport vehicles can travel faster through intersections. This contributes to shorter journey times and increased service reliability.

Watch out, I'm on my way!

Emergency services
prioritisation

One of the most important aspects of emergency services is their ability to get to the scene quickly. This can mean the difference between life and death in many situations. Invipo's platform is able to help them by prioritizing at traffic lights to create a corridor for free passage. It can also take control at the scene of a potential accident, set up public lighting or perhaps inform drivers with variable message signs.

Beware of ice and snow!

Road maintenance

Drivers should know when the roads are wet or snow and ice start to accumulate. As well as winter maintenance vehicles, they should be in the right places at the right times. A road weather system enables timely and efficient maintenance of the road network, contributes to traffic safety and reduces unnecessary costs. In addition, the system is constantly improving by continuously collecting data, which it immediately evaluates and builds more accurate forecast models.

Challenge accepted.

Parking

Parking in the city can be a challenge. The number of cars is growing and there never seems to be enough space. Invipo's platform not only helps drivers find a free space without having to circle the streets, but also helps the city identify where new parking spaces are needed, where parking is not efficient enough, where there are unused spaces, and perhaps even promptly change navigation to a parking lot in the event of planned but unforeseen events.

Everything's going smoothly.

Automation

Leave the routine tasks to the machine, which is faster and more accurate. Simply set up smart scenario so that the system performs most tasks autonomously, immediately and without delay. But it's still you who controls and operates the system.

If there's an accident.

Emergency scenarios

If an accident already occurs, Invipo's task is to adjust traffic control, inform other drivers of the danger and possible delays, switch on public lighting at the accident site, and give way to emergency vehicles at intersections. All this with the help of smart scenarios and interoperability, that is, the ability to coordinate multiple systems in the city from one platform. This is just one example of how to smartly connect systems and technologies in the city.

Saturday night out.

Event scenarios

A large event is taking place in the middle of the city, traffic is adapted to the influx of vehicles towards the centre, navigation guides drivers to available car parks, access to crowded streets is already restricted and public lighting is on full blast in the vicinity of the event. Information boards transmit the time schedule as well as weather information. Just have fun.

I'll be a good boy, officer.

Violation monitoring

Invipo helps to identify, record and monitor offences and forward them to the relevant administrative agency. It compiles statistics on the number and types of offences committed in a given area and identifies critical locations with a higher frequency of offences.

Parking violation

Invipo uses sensors and cameras to identify vehicles that park illegally or overstay their parking time.

Red light offence

Recording of vehicles with license plate recognition cameras when running red lights.

Overloaded trucks

Overloaded vehicles pose a safety risk and can damage infrastructure, so it is important to monitor and regulate them.

Speeding

Speeding is one of the most common causes of traffic accidents. Measuring speed at critical points is one way to reduce the number of accidents.

Where to put it?

Waste collection

Intelligent waste tracking can speed up waste collection, identify faults and trouble spots and facilitate collection evaluation, both at collection yards and by tracking collection vehicles.

Turn on the lights!

Street lights

Smart street lighting is an important part of urban infrastructure. Invipo enables automatic switching and brightness adjustment depending on the time of day, based on data from motion sensors, by monitoring traffic intensity or by using smart scenarios. It records technical assets, keeps track of maintenance, planned lifetime, and records consumption data.
